How do I get to VNO Retreat?
We provide private shuttle transfers from Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO) to our location, included in your retreat package. The journey includes a scenic ferry ride across the Gulf of Nicoya. Alternatively, you can reach us by booking a domestic flight to Tambor or Cobano with Sansa Airlines or Green Airways. We're here to assist you with travel arrangements.

 

What is the retreat itinerary?
A detailed itinerary will be provided in your welcome packet. Our retreats include various activities such as surfing, yoga, group workshops, and excursions for a well-rounded, transformative experience.

Is it safe to travel solo to VNO Retreat?
Absolutely! Costa Rica is a safe and welcoming destination for solo travelers. Most of our guests arrive alone and leave with lifelong friendships and connections.

What travel documents do I need to go to Costa Rica?

You will need a valid passport to enter and exit Costa Rica. Your passport must have at least six months remaining before the expiration date to be valid. Costa Rica does not require a Visa from most countries. Check with the Costa Rican Embassy for more information on travel documentation, immunizations, and requirements. http://www.costarica-embassy.org/.

Do I need to be vaccinated against Covid-19 to attend?
Vaccination is not required for participation at VNO. However, we do require all guests to complete our Covid-19 screening form prior to arrival. This form will be included in your welcome packet.

BOOKING TERMS

At VNO Retreat, our goal is to ensure that all participants have an amazing and transformative experience. To help protect everyone involved and establish clear expectations, please review the following policy page outlining our terms and conditions. By signing up for the retreat, you agree to these terms.

 

1. Health and Safety:  Your safety and well-being are important to us. However, participants are responsible for their health, safety, and any medical expenses incurred during the retreat. We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance, including medical coverage, to cover any potential expenses related to accidents, illness, or emergencies that may arise during the retreat.

 

2. Health Conditions and Special Needs:  If you have any existing health conditions, allergies, or special needs, please inform us at the time of booking. While we will make every effort to accommodate your needs, we cannot guarantee that we can meet all requests. It is your responsibility to inform us of any concerns or issues you may have in advance.

 

3. Liability Release: By participating in any VNO Retreat you agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the retreat organizers, facilitators, and any affiliated entities from any and all liability, claims, damages, expenses, or losses related to your participation in the retreat. This includes but is not limited to, injury, illness, loss of personal property, cancellation or rescheduling of the retreat, or any other circumstance beyond our control.

 

4. Cancellation Policy:  If you need to cancel your retreat booking, please contact us as soon as possible.

Cancellation policy is as follows:

All retreat deposits are non-refundable.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • The remaining balance (total price minus deposit) is due 30 days before the retreat start date.

  • 50% of the balance (not including the deposit) will be refunded for cancellations made 3 weeks before the retreat start date. 

  • No Refunds for cancellations less than 3 weeks before the retreat start date.
     

When purchasing a retreat through our site the cancellation policy above will apply to your purchase.  There are no refunds or credits for failure to attend or failure to complete the retreat, or for arriving late or leaving early. 
Before purchasing a retreat, it is your responsibility to thoroughly read and understand clearly the cancellation policy.
We are mindful that unexpected events may happen that can affect your ability to attend a VNO Retreat. We highly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance with trip cancellation to cover your retreat investment and any medical issues that may arise on retreat. Most travel insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation. 
VNO Retreat reserve the right to cancel any retreat that is not meeting the minimum participant requirement. In this case, all money paid to VNO Retreats will be refunded. Notification of cancellations, for this reason, will occur at least 1 month prior to the retreat start date. By signing up for any of our VNO Retreats you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these policies and responsibility agreements.
